Mark graduated from Birmingham University in 1982 with a First Class Honours in Jewellery and Silversmithing. After winning two national jewellery awards, he then travelled to India from 1982 to 1983 and designed and created one of the most exotic jewels in the world at the time – a crown for a Hindu Temple featuring 25,000 flawless diamonds and 20 kilos of 24 carat yellow gold.
Over the following 20 years Mark was a designer and consultant for many of the world’s leading jewellery and watch brands, including De Beers, Dunhill, Wedgewood, Timex and Links of London. He also designed for many prominent international jewellery manufacturers based in Europe, USA, Far East, Sri Lanka and India.
For the past 15 years Mark has continued his colourful jewellery journey as a diamond broker for The Diamond Trading Company, a consultant to the coloured gemstone and pearl world and a voice and expert for the diamond industry on both radio and television. Mark is bringing together his unique jewellery experience of 40 years to offer a superb bespoke jewellery service based on passion, excellence and surprising value.
